Learn about our Building Bright Futures Campaign and the Mission 13  initiative

The children we serve are impoverished, mostly raised by single mothers, who otherwise would have no opportunity to acquire any level of education much less one that will allow them to break their family’s cycle of extreme poverty which has led many to be abused and lacking in a solid moral foundation based on Christian values. We have been operating since 2013, using rented facilities and temporary classrooms to serve approximately 85 children per year and provide employment for 16 staff. Each child's education was supplemented by two hot meals a day, along with instruction in Christian moral values. This campaign and initiative seeks to create a transformative educational environment that increases our ability to support their learning and growth. You are the key component of that campaign.

The Mission 13 initiative honors Jordan Elizabeth Glawe who died tragically at the age of 18 in a car accident. 100% of the funds raised through Mission 13 will go to build the school. This initiative is led by Bruce and Gale Glawe along with Jordan’s parents, Pastor Jeff Glawe and his wife, Jackie. Why the name Mission 13? Jordan’s favorite Bible verse was written by St. Paul in the book of Philippians chapter 1 beginning in verse 3. We encourage you to look it up. The number 13 has come to symbolize so much for the Glawe family as it speaks to their belief in 1 Triune God in 3 parts. The number 13 appears everywhere in their lives and it reminds them that Jordan is always with them in spirit, hence the name “Mission 13”. Jordan was all about helping others find their way to Christ, particularly youth. We hope you will honor her with a donation. Sincerely, Bruce and Gale, Jeff and Jackie
