Fundraisers that are Fun and do Good

The events below allow you to participate in raising funds to keep our Guatemalan educational ministry free for as many children as possible. The slide show below is of items donated to help us raise funds for building the school. 100% of your purchase goes toward this goal.


Music for Mission: This inaugural musical evening was held in Greenwood, SC on Friday evening, March 1 beginning at 7pm. Talented performers from the area displayed their skills on keyboard, piano, guitar and voice. Attendees were also treated to a short presentation on the ministry in Guatemala and enjoyed a variety of desserts and beverages. Thank you everyone who attended. Chili:  Our Greenwood, SC Chili date is Wednesday, March 20, 2024. We will have quarts of spicy beef and bean chili, mild beef, bean and corn chili as well as a white chicken chili. Each quart is $25. The pickup location is in the underpass on the Creswell Ave side of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Greenwood, SC between 5 and 6pm or by arrangement with Lynn if that won't work for you. Order your chili here

Pecans:  We have just a few packages of dark and milk chocolate-covered pecans remaining!  All proceeds go to fund a child's education at our school in Guatemala. You can though order a full case of any variety (24 bags per type) and the shipping will be free. Soup Sundays:  Quarts of homemade soup are available in both the Greenwood, SC and Hinton, WV areas on select dates during fall and winter. The next Greenwood sale date will be in October of 2024. Hinton United Methodist Church is the pick-up site for that area.  Please call Mark @ 304-860-7713 to reserve your soup.

Our 2023 Fiesta de Guatemala was held on September 9 in Greenwood, SC. Attendees enjoyed a delicious Hispanic meal, learned about our mission in Guatemala, and participated in the homemade treats sale and a silent auction. The $8239 raised is the beginning of our fund to build a school on our newly acquired land in Chimaltenango, Guatemala. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
